Well, it's gonna be almost two days since my surgery to remove my wisdom teeth. Instead of getting all four of them out, my parents decided to just remove the two bottom ones for now and remove the two upper ones next year just to save some money. Cost alot of money just to remove those teeth out. Here's what took place during surgery day and the latest updates as of right now...
-June 28, 8:00 am was my day and time for the surgery at some place in Chula Vista. The night before, I only had a total of 3 hours sleep before waking up at 4 am to get ready. I didn't really know what to expect so that was the cause of my trouble sleeping. I was told to avoid any kind of eating or drinking of any sorts 11 hours before operation, including water, which I soon became a little bit dehydrated. They also said not to brush my teeth right after waking up. Woke up early and left the house early with my dad to try to avoid the morning traffic but we eventually got stuck in traffic.
-Got to the place an hour early before they opened, so I decided to take a nap in the car. Woke up around 7:45 am and used the bathroom just before signing some papers and heading into the operation room.
-Around 8:10 am, an assistant checked my blood pressure at least 5 times to make sure it was okay. He then told me to put three heart rate patches on my body to monitor my heart rate during operation. Another assistant entered the room and I began to ask her questions. She said it would take at least two weeks to heal, no brushing the teeth until the stitches are completely dissolved, only liquid foods for the first week, avoid any physical contact, rinse mouth with salt in water, and use ice packets to place on cheeks to help slow down swelling. There were other instructions also given.
-The dental surgeon came in and began talking to me. He wrapped my right arm with some sort of tie to make the vein pop out. He then placed the IV into my right arm vein and an assistant placed an oxygen mask over my nose. From there, all I remember was the doctor asking me a few questions until I fell asleep.
-I don't remember how, but I woke up feeling dizzy and light headed. I woke up with two gauzes in my mouth, and asked one of the assistants if I could see my wisdom teeth. She showed me a cup that had my wisdom teeth partially covered in blood and in pieces. The other assistant then helped me get into the car and all I could remember was being really dizzy.
-As I got to the SD house, I kept biting on the gauze pads and I felt my tongue and lower lip become all numb. I layed down on the couch and fell asleep. I woke up and my throat was dry and that's when I began to spit alot of blood. I was swallowing my own blood during my nap and that's what made my throat sore. I drank water for the first time in awhile. My cheeks were somewhat swollen and sore. My dad bought me an ice cream shake from Jack In The Box, and I had to wait for it to melt to actually eat it. I took another nap after taking my medications. When I woke up again, my dad told me that it was time to go to the other house. I continues to bleed and I kept spitting out the blood in a plastic bag. I continues to bite on the gauze pads to help stop the bleeding.
-Got back to Temec and I had stopped bleeding. I fell asleep again and didn't wake up until 8 that night.
For dinner, I made mixed myself a strawberry yogurt in the blender. After that, went back to sleep and didn't wake up until 3 am the next morning.
-So far, I've been taking alot of naps because of the medications I am taking. The doctor said bleeding usually occurs up to 3-4 days but luckily for me, I stopped bleeding completely right after I got back to Temec. I don't bite on the gauze pads anymore. Haven't brushed my teeth since the night before operation and got damn, I wanna brush my teeth just because my breathe right now is stankin'. I've been getting the hiccups alot lately which gets annoying. The doctor made it seem that I couldn't talk at all for the next two weeks but I can actually talk, just mumbling though. So far, I've only eaten an ice cream shake, strawberry yogurt, cream of mushroom soup, and cream of chicken soup. The only thing that kind of bothers me is the stitches on my gums. I can't really open my mouth to speak or even laugh because of the stitches. It really gets annoying when I try to swallow my own saliva and I feel the stitches pull back a little bit. So far, I've been okay. Just been getting alot of sleep and rest. I have a check up with the dental surgeon this Thursday to see the progress of the healing. I will still continue on with my two week break. By the way, ya boy is doing good so need to question about my status. Still tryna get my rest so I could heal faster. O yea, one more thing, these stitches are a bitch!

Video Peek 3
I don't usually debut an artist's music videos in consecutive times, but I had to do it this time. Last month, I debuted Kanye West, "Can't Tell Me Nothing" music video. At first, I was digging the song and wasn't really in favor of the video, but after watching it more and noticing how Kanye West was given one car, one video model, and basically just two settings for that video and giving it the visual effects it had, I thought it was creative.
Now, this music video that I am about to debut is supposedly his first official single off his new album. After hearing the first two songs, this is probably one of the most anticipated albums I'm expecting on getting because both singles so far in my opinion, are good material songs that actually have substance in them. The video is Kanye West, "Stronger" which samples off the Techno group Daft Punk. Probably one of the most creative music videos I have seen in awhile because it has a theme of futuristic anime style with great visual effects. Might I mention that his main video girl in the video is not other than Cassie, who looks hella cute in the video. Due to some research I have done, this video hasn't been premiered yet here in the U.S. and has only premiered in Germany. Again, the video is very creative with its futuristic anime type theme and Kanye never upsets with his music and videos. Big ups to dude for changing his sound and experimenting with it.

It's usually a common thing that people have celebrity crushes right? I cosign with the many men out there that know their are so many girls that are eye candy. No doubt you have your Eva Longorias, Jessica Albas, Angelina Jolies, and every other actresses, singers, or whatever else they are.
There's actually one girl that sticks out in my mind and has actually caught my eye. In my opinion, probably one of the most cutest girls I've seen in my existence. No she isn't a well-known Hollywood actress, not even a diva or a world famous model. I don't think she isn't even in the famous radar at all yet just because I know nobody has yet to see her in anything on television or the radio. I know she is trying to become famous star and hopefully she will become one soon.
So let me introduce you to this 5'5 with brown eyes, caramel complexion, smile like the sunrise, and got a body like heaven kind of girl. Her name is... Anonymous. Yea, that's right, Anonymous. Her name is for me to know and for you guys to find out. She is a model, a singer, and I believe a little bit of an actress.
Before I post up pics of her, I'll make this clear. I am not a stalker or infatuated with this girl hah. I just kinda got a small crush on this girl. It would be sweet to meet this girl but *sigh*, probably won't happen. She's my kind of girl no doubt, Filipina, smart, cute, chill, talented, and alot of characteristics I would like to find in a girl.
Enough of the writing, here is Anonymous...

Cute isn't she??? Holla at ya boy please?!?!

Two Day Affair
Ah yes, a two day affair in the city that I love, San Diego. This time, having the time to actually chill and hang out with the pack. Been a long minute since we had back to back days of actually hanging out and having a good time. I'm still pretty tired from the past two days, but no need to complain because I was able to enjoy myself.
Tuesday, SCPA Class of 2007 Graduation + party at Matt's = good times.
Wednesday, Del Mar Fair + Crew + = fun times.
Let the story begin...
(Forewarning, I do not know why the hell I don't get sound everytime I upload a video on my computer. Please bare with me.)

Damn, we wasted tickets on this fun house. I actually enjoyed going through that maze when I was younger, not knowing the exact way out. But damn, going through that maze now was mad whack.
Yul, Jr, Matt, and Hov rode the Kamikaze. Me on the other hand, had to back down. Just watching that ride made me nervous as hell
I told the guys I would ride at least one thrill ride for them since they know I ain't really a big fan of thrill rides. It coulda been any ride at the fair as long as it didn't go upside down. Well, they chose this ride. It does actually look like a short ride, but for me, it felt like I forever.

Yul's nap time. Explanation from him, I guess the rides were making him feel light-headed especially the Kamikaze ride. Once feeling light-headed, it leads him to sleep, thus explaining the picture above.

I have plenty of pictures but it I uploading them all would be crazy. I ran out of memory after that last shot and basically couldn't get any more footage or pics. We were basically worn out by the end of the night. It was a fun two days for me and I just wanna say thank you to the pack for making it fun. Most of the videos and pics are courtesy of my brother Moy, so thank you also. After my two week hiatus after surgery, hopefully we'll try to get big things poppin' again. Till next time for the next summer adventure...

Wisdom Out
Yes, I'm getting my wisdom out. No, not the wisdom that comes from out of our heads, but the wisdom teeth that supposedly grows out of our upper and lower jaws. Around the ages of 18-25, in the back part of our gums on our jaws, there's a chance that a tooth could pop out from each corner of the jaws. Those people that have their wisdom teeth come out have the chance to get surgery or not. For those that do not grow their wisdom teeth at all, you guys are lucky as hell because there probably wouldn't be a need for any surgery to remove them. Luckily (in a sarcastic way) for me, I'm in the bunch where my wisdom teeth has come out and my dentist has recommended me to have them removed.
On June 28th, I'll be visiting the facial surgeon and I'm going to have my wisdom teeth surgically pulled out. I've haven't had any kind of surgery in awhile and so the procedure won't really bother me since I'll be under anesthesia. Problem is with me, the way their gonna be putting me to sleep is by sticking an IV through me. After seeing many people have IV's stuck in the area above the elbow, just looking at that made me squirm a little bit. Unfortunately, I'm not gonna be given a shot to my bicep, nor being given the gas mask that would make me drowsy. They will be sticking me (No Homo) with an IV, which I'm hella nervous about. One thought that bothers me about that is if they have a hard time trying to find the vein, and having to repeatedly poke me multiple times in that area just to find the vein, that's just gonna make me more nervous as Hell. Needles are something that really makes me nervous but I got no choice but to take it and deal with it.
Since I won't be awake during the procedure, I'm not really worried about them taking out the teeth. One thing that's been on my mind though is the aftermath of the surgery. The dentist basically nailed down the problems that have the chance to occur or are likely to occur: bleeding, losing sensation and numbness to my tongue and lips, swelling of the cheeks, stitches to my gums, soreness, and most importantly I won't be able to talk for at least two weeks. So there goes two weeks of my summer, getting healed from surgery, not being able to do the things I want. It's all good though, it's better doing it over the summer than during the semester. One more note, the dentist said that it will take at least two months for the jaw bone to heal completely. That's one thing that's scary as Hell with surgeries is the aftermath of it. Once the anesthesia goes away and I start to feel the physically pain, that's the part I'm more scared about.
Recommendations of taking my wisdom teeth out came from my dentist. Reasons being is that they can cause gum disease in hard to reach areas, can push teeth and cause misalignment, become harder to take out when a person gets older, cause crowding among the other teeth, and a few other reasons I forgot. So yes, I'll be getting surgery to remove those damn wisdom teeth out and I'm nervous as Hell with the aftermath of the operation. I got less than three weeks left until operation time.
